1. Eligibility

You must:

2. Our Services

Khanabanao is a platform that connects customers with professional home cooks and chefs for at-home cooking and related services, including but not limited to:

• One-time cooking sessions
• Chef for party / events at home
• Regular home cook / monthly plans
• Chef services for weddings and special occasions
• Other related at-home cooking services as listed on the Website

We may update, modify or discontinue any service at our discretion.

3. User Accounts & Information

You may be required to provide personal details (name, phone number, email, address, event details, etc.) to place a booking.

You agree that:

• All information provided is true, accurate and complete.
• You will promptly update any change in your details.
• You are responsible for the confidentiality of any OTPs or login details.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account or through your phone number/email.

4. Bookings & Confirmations

• Bookings are subject to chef availability, location, timing, and other conditions.
• Your booking is confirmed only after we (or the system) send you a confirmation via SMS/WhatsApp/email/phone and, where applicable, after advance payment is received.
• We reserve the right to accept or reject any booking request.

5. Payments

• Payments are processed through secure payment gateways such as Razorpay and other authorised partners.
• By providing your payment information, you authorise us and our payment partners to charge the applicable booking fee / service charge.
• Any applicable taxes, including GST, will be charged as per prevailing law and shown on the invoice wherever applicable.

6. Pricing

Service prices may vary based on city, chef experience, duration, number of people, menu, timing and any add-ons requested.

The applicable pricing will be shown to you on the Website or communicated before confirming the booking. Please also refer to our Pricing Policy.

Once your booking is confirmed and payment is made, the price for that booking will not change, except where you modify the service details by mutual agreement.

7. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate address, timing and event details.
• Ensure a safe, hygienic and non-abusive environment for the chef/cook at your premises.
• Provide basic kitchen infrastructure, utensils, gas/stove and utilities as mutually agreed.
• Inform us in advance about any special requirements, allergies or restrictions.

Khanabanao will not be responsible for any issues arising from non-disclosure of such information.

8. Chef/Partner Responsibilities

Chefs / partners are expected to:

• Reach the location on time, subject to reasonable travel conditions.
• Prepare food in a hygienic manner and as per the agreed menu and timing.
• Maintain professional and courteous conduct at all times.

9. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms a part of these Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of profit or data, arising out of use of the Website or services.

Our total liability for any claim relating to a booking will be limited to the amount actually paid by you to Khanabanao for that specific booking.

11. Third-Party Services & Links

Our Website may use or reference third-party services (payment gateways, map services, communication tools) and may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of such third parties.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Khanabanao, its owners, employees and partners from any claim or demand arising out of:

• Your use of the Website or services
• Your breach of these Terms
• Violation of any law or third-party rights

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hassan, Karnataka, India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Website after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
